O'migosh! Out of touch for 10 to 12 days! Gulp....kind of scary for those of us here at home, but we know you are in good hands and are having a GREAT time!

Scenery sounds spectacular...can't wait to see your pictures.

Will be anxiously awaiting your return to the blog! In the meantime, ENJOY!

Love, Karen

I loved the detail about people laughing when they heard that Captain Pemba was going trekking. He can ski, too, as he proved at Alta in the deep powder. He has many talents. But only one porter? How times have changed from twenty-two years ago when we camped out in tents because lodging was mostly unavailable. Now that you are on the trail, out of communication, the suspense will build relentlessly. Henry and I are going to miss these regular updates. We love you both and hope you have a great trek.

Sounds like you are having a great adventure. I have also enjoyed reading your blog. I feel like I can live vicariously through your stories and pictures. Happy Trails! I definitely look forward to hearing more when you're back to add to the blog.
